Are you planning to attend a two-or-four-year college after high school?  Are you planning to enlist in the military? Are you planning to play sports in college?  If so, plan to attend our annual COLLEGE NIGHT on Thursday, November 5, 2009.  COLLEGE NIGHT will be a special evening of informative sessions for all college-bound students, athletes and those planning to enlist in the military or attend one of the military academies.  The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the UHS auditorium.  You will be given information on “What makes a college the best college for you?”  The presenters will then be introduced and a brief overview of the evening will be given.  Beginning at 7:30p.m., we will have individual breakout sessions on the UC and Cal State systems, private colleges and universities, community colleges, the military academies, SAT/ACT testing, financial aid, scholarships, the NCAA Clearinghouse, preparing for college, choosing a college, the application essay and much more!  Students and parents will have the opportunity to attend three different sessions.  Please make note that COLLEGE NIGHT is held every year in November.  If you start attending as a freshman, you will be able to cover all the sessions by the time you are a senior.  We hope to see you there!
